update

I started this blog because I enjoy reading blogs and had this vision of building upon this as a way for customers to follow the progress of their custom furniture piece. What has happened, as usual, is that life has intervened. I really am not sure if anyone is reading this at all, so if you are out there and find this interesting, please click on comments and leave me a message.
As if the economy isn't enough, we had to put a transmission in the Jeep. Thanks to a really really good friend, we did have wheels, but Wow....transmissions are expensive!!!!
So i am going to post a few pictures of things that have been being built and delivered since my last post.
Thanks for reading

I just wanted to show off this table cover that I had to have. We were actually on the road doing measures and I found this table cover at Marshall's. I didn't buy it because $19.99 seemed too extravagant. We continued on our travels and I just kept thinking how nice it would look and I made Steve drive out of the way to buy it....But doesn't it look pretty......?
The kitchen remodel at our homestead is proceeding slowly but nicely. Since we are trying to do this for little or no monetary output we are proceeding as planned. We have all of the doors on except for the sink area. We cannot rip this area out until we have a new faucet and a counter top. Since I keep changing my mind on this.....I guess I am the one holding the project up. So we have changed our mind on the floor....vinyl tiles that look so real you have to touch them to see that they aren't is what we are now leaning towards. We did rip the peninsula out and the kitchen looks bigger but with so few cabinets now. We moved the trash compactor to the area where the peninsula was. I lost a bank of drawers so we are trying to build the island along with customer pieces so that we regain some of the storage. I will try to send updated pix of this as soon as I can. Right now it is time for kickoff.....Go Cards.
